Staff Positions
Interested in being a staff member at Camp Herald? Here are our three major departments that require staff. All staff must be able to serve on-site from June to August.
PROGRAM/ADMINISTRATION
The Program staff‘s duties involve facilitating the camp program/activities, maintain communications with governing bodies & parents/guardians, and ensure that campers have a memorable & safe camp experience.
MAINTENANCE & LIFEGUARD
The Maintenance team is responsible for the upkeep of all facilities & campgrounds. Experience with power tools & landscaping tools is required. They also work closely to train & lead the camp volunteers.
Lifeguards will be required to survey our waterfront, rescue swimmers in distress and administer first aid/CPR when necessary.
(Must have Waterfront Lifeguard cert.)
KITCHEN/FOOD PREP
Our Kitchen staff are tasked with preparing tasty & nutritious meals for everyone at the campsite in a timely manner. Must have proficient cooking skills and knowledgeable about food protection/handling.
